Description: This lesson consisted of reading the Jonny Apple Seed story and going over the history of that. We then got clay and shaped the base of the apple and the leaf and stem. We scored the pieces to put them together and then we painted it.
Extension Activity: I think it would be a lot of fun for the students to create a story about all the places an apple goes after it gets picked off of a tree and then adding in this activity and have the students create their own apple from their story.
